deBuren podcasts
In June 2004 the Netherlands and Flanders opened a cultural institute, a centre of debate and reflection, called deBuren (the neighbours). In Brussels, the capital of Europe, deBuren was given the task of presenting and documenting the culture of the Low Countries and of providing a platform for debate on culture, society and politics in the Netherlands, Flanders and Europe.
Just a while ago the Vlaams-Nederlands Huis deBuren started with exploring the podcast fenomenon.
Two podcast channels were developped. After 2 months the downloadcounter marks more than 7.500 downloads.

Recordings from debates, lectures and other 'official' moments.

2. Radioboeken ("radiobooks")
Radiobooks are books written by known - and less known - writers commissioned by the deBuren, who never will be printed. The exist only as a radio transmission and as ... podcast.
