Blogging is so 2005

Yesterday during the launch of our new blog, Pietel won our contest and got the chance to write the first post on the new blog. Here it is:

Blogging is so 2005. I've been saying this ever since I started blogging myself, mid 2004. In a couple of years the weblog became an internet old timer. A good old classic everybody was using.

Today the fuzz is about cloud computing. Grabbing bit and pieces of web services and composing your own world, somewhere in between online and offline, browser and desktop.

When I heard the Boondogglers talking about " a dashboard feeling" while presenting their newest blog I knew they are still on top of it. Right on guys! Still this B-side blog is lacking some key web features. Where is the twitter timeline guys?

I'm allowed to write one post on this weblog and will use it to publish a twitter badge. This means all my friends can get on the Boondoggle blog theirselves, by posting messages on twitter. Anyone who enters an @pietel tweet will appear in the badge. Till the end of internet times.

I hope this will encourage the Boondoggle bloggers to add some serious Twitter action in their sidebar and put some 'web' into this 'log'. Didn't we all agree we have switched from push to pull? And erm... Just to make this article future proof: Twitter is so 2007!
