Jan Van den Bergh's holy trinity whitepaper

Jevedebe When Jan left Boondoggle Leuven to start up i-merge Shanghai, everything was as it used to be in the beginning. Through his blog posts on the Boondoggle blog and his stream of "you must read this" mails, he continuously provoked us with insights in how the future of our industry is evolving.

Since Chinese government doesn't make it very easy to blog on those bloody subversive Typepad blogs, Jan flocked to Facebook, upon which he surrounded himself with more than 666 friends (pun not intended) and where he continues to drop little nudges of insight and inspiration in his social network. He actually tells us that the quality of his reach is much higher than it was on this blog (because of his focus on China).

Anyway, he posted a very interesting column/whitepaper/vision document on what he considers to be the new holy trinity in marketing: Mobile, Point-of-Sales and Social Networks. Download his thought provoking 7-pager here and tell us what you think.

And if you want to be kept posted on what is keeping the man awake: add him as a friend on Facebook.

Nice paper Jan, and agree that mobile devices and social networking will create an entirely new range of amazing possibilities.

Lastly, the simplest way to locate a shop is by seeking one within or near where you are, it's almost full proof that they are likely to be non-existence whenever you return having a question or concern.
