Lots of Kudos for the new Sensoa site

The launch of the new Sensoa website "allesoverseks.be" was all over the Belgian press and blogosphere. Even some international advertising blogs picked it up and commented very positive about it.

The focus of the site is on providing the right information on any question possible related to sex and relations. To make sure that this is more than just a marketing promise, we have built a site that has a powerful search engine and a smart way of showing answers. Every question results in an answer and is enriched with related questions, related search terms and context through related news, stories, and forum posts.

Sex is an easy topic to create conversations about so we are more than happy to see that the buzz also resulted in hard figures.

The website was launched on September 17th. The same day, the site counted 21,500 visits and in two days time almost 40,000 unique visitors checked out the site.

The campaign also started off very successful with the page on Netlog getting 1500 visits in three days, the movie 27,000 views for the English version and 19,000 for the Dutch version. Print ads will appear in Flemish press during the next weeks.

But apart from getting a lot of visitors, we can also conclude that the approach of the site works.

    * The tag cloud is the second most visited page (after the home page)
    * visitors spend about 5 minutes on the site and visit about 12 pages per visit
    * only one out of ten visitors doesn’t visit the site further than the homepage
