Blogs are better influencers than social networks
This one comes straight from Jan VDB his never ending facebook news stream. It goes against the idea that blogs will be replaced by the big social networks… If you want to have influence it’s still necessary to write a blog it seems.

No real surprise there. Most of the social network influence feels kind of branded if you ask me. I've been using facebook for quite a while now and I have to say that most of the fanbase type of stuff feels kind of branded. A blog on the other hand doesn't feel as branded by companies than the products you will find people 'promoting' on a social network. I think that bloggers will always be the biggest influencers because of the openness and searchability of its web of information. Whereas a social network will be closed towards most people.
The cognitive surplus... what a great thing eh? :p

Yes I think blog is another good way to get promoted , good post indeed.
How hard would it be to save progress locally? What a load of garbage.
